Sermon: The top 1% holds roughly 24% of Canada’s total net wealth. This is nearly equivalent to the entire collective wealth of the bottom 80% of Canadians combined. The Apostle James has strong warnings for God’s people about their relationship with money. In our capitalist economy that values constant, never-ending growth, what should the church’s response be? Where is the line between being a good steward and loving money ‘too much’?
